Role Overview:
Seeking a Senior Brachytherapy Certified Radiation Therapist to deliver advanced radiation treatments with training provided for brachytherapy experience. The position involves preparing patients and charts, administering treatments, coordinating scheduling, and assisting physicians with procedures. Opportunities exist for cross-training and utilizing the latest radiation therapy technology, including imaging, dosimetry, and HDR treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures
- Deliver precise treatments and complete the treatment process
- Assist with patient scheduling and supply preparation
- Administer radiopharmaceutical treatments and provide patient education
- Support advanced treatment techniques and imaging procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Board Certified by ARRT (RT[T])
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Licensure as R.T.(T) necessary
- No prior experience required; training provided
