We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology to provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision.
Assess, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging. Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope. Educate patients on disease management, medications, nutrition, and lifestyle. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and legal standards. Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
Schedule: Two days per week (8 hours/day), with potential for additional shifts. Must work on-site in Farwell, TX.
Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift patients, and work in a clinical environment.
