The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas.
Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, and IBD. Performs assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and develops treatment plans. Prescribes medications and educates patients on disease management, nutrition, and lifestyle. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and maintains accurate documentation. Participates in clinical and quality improvement activities in a part-time schedule of 2 days per week, with potential for additional shifts. Qualifications include: Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least 1 year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
Physical requirements involve standing, walking, and possible patient lifting in a clinical setting. The role requires relocation to Farwell, TX before starting.
