PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Performs assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and develops individualized treatment plans.

Prescribes medications and therapies within scope, educates patients on disease management, and collaborates with healthcare team members.

Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to regulatory standards, and participates in team meetings and quality initiatives.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

Work schedule is 2 days per week (8 hours/day), with potential for additional shifts. The role is on-site, requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX before starting.
