Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Oversee daily clinical operations in a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit, coordinating patient care and supporting RNs and support staff. Ensure evidence-based practice, accurate assessments, and safe, effective transitions of care.
- Coordinate and manage unit workflow to support high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and deliver care
- Monitor patient safety and quality metrics; address issues to improve outcomes
- Provide staff mentoring, performance feedback, and support professional development
- Assist with education, onboarding, and competency development for new and existing staff
- Support process improvement initiatives and promote clinical excellence
- Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and accountability
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to assess and manage high-acuity patients
- Knowledge of safe transitions of care and evidence-based nursing practices
