Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care through ventilator management, airway procedures, aerosolized medications, and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Collaborate with healthcare team for planning and implementing patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Educate patients, families, and mentor new staff and students.
- Promote a positive work environment and team approach.
- Ensure accurate documentation, support performance improvement initiatives, and adhere to policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS required at hire.
- 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills.
