Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings.
Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality, including ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and therapy planning. Collaborate with healthcare team members, educate patients and staff, and promote evidence-based practices. Support performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care preferred. Must possess strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, and the ability to establish effective professional relationships.
Key Duties: Perform patient assessments, manage ventilators, administer medications, assist with invasive and diagnostic procedures, and mentor new staff. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care and safety.
