PRN medical opportunity at a 125-bed facility in Springfield, Illinois, offering shifts Monday to Thursday (5 pm – 8 am) and weekends (Friday 5:30 pm – Monday 8 am).
The provider will have a furnished call room with amenities and remain on-site during shifts.
- Evaluate patients for admission, diagnosis, initial history, and physical exams as needed.
- Develop treatment plans, order labs, and provide care to adult inpatients.
- Document findings and treatment plans.
- Manage employee work-related injuries and respond to emergencies.
- Make referrals to hospitals and review restraint/seclusion orders.
- Provide on-call coverage from the call room.
Call duties include responding to restraints, falls, emergencies, and occasional patient admissions, including completing assessments and confirming medications.
Physician qualifications include an Illinois license, Controlled Substance and DEA certificates, recent Mantoux test, and board eligibility or certification in a specialty.
Pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,125 daily, with a flexible schedule. This is an in-person position.
