The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and ordering tests per ACOG guidelines.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing treatment plans, documenting comprehensively, and supporting a culture of service and accountability.
They manage approximately 20 walk-in patients daily, take after-hours calls by phone, and work at multiple sites as needed.
Qualifications include MD or DO, valid California license, board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN, and postgraduate residency.
Preferred candidates have 2+ years of ambulatory experience, familiarity with the Patient Centered Medical Home model, and medical Spanish skills.
