Physician – Hematology/Oncology

Role Overview: This full-time Hematology/Oncology physician provides patient-centered care, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and participates in teaching, quality improvement, and community health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care for hematology and oncology patients, including new referrals and ongoing treatment.
  • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Document clinical encounters and treatment plans in electronic medical records.
  • Engage in quality improvement projects and support community health efforts.
  • Participate in teaching, mentoring, and research activities, including clinical trials.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Fellowship training in hematology or oncology required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty, with certification within five years if applicable.
  • Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • DEA license and BLS certification (must be maintained).
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical skills.
