The Physician provides outpatient medical services to patients of all ages in a rural setting, with direct oversight as the Director of Medical Services.
- Deliver responsible, respectful patient care, including histories, screenings, diagnoses, treatments, and prevention services.
- Coordinate care for chronic patients, perform telephone consultations, and ensure timely documentation.
- Refer complex cases to specialists, collaborate with external agencies, and develop clinic procedures for quality improvement.
- Supervise the medical team, provide consultation, and oversee clinical operations, including specialty clinics.
- Maintain compliance with regulations, participate in education, and stay current with medical knowledge.
- Maintain records, ensure privacy standards, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Work in a clinical environment with occasional travel, and meet immunization and certification requirements.
