The Physician will provide outpatient medical services in a rural setting, overseeing clinic operations and the medical team as Director of Medical Services.
- Deliver responsible, respectful patient care, including history taking, diagnostics, treatments, and prevention services.
- Coordinate ongoing care for chronic patients, consult with specialists, and refer when necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation, review reports, and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Develop protocols, train staff, and oversee clinical quality improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with administrative staff, manage electronic health records, and participate in organizational committees.
- Supervise medical staff, provide specialty clinics, and support community health initiatives.
- Maintain current licensure, certifications, and pursue ongoing education.
- Work in a clinical environment with occasional travel and extended sedentary periods.
