Role: Physical Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities: Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that improve mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion for patients. Select appropriate activities, revise goals, provide patient and family education, and offer discharge instructions and referrals. Document treatment sessions per protocols, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain confidentiality. Foster a positive, team-oriented environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities. Uphold ethical practices, adhere to infection prevention protocols, and utilize equipment safely and cost-effectively.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy, valid PTA license, BLS certification, effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills. Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, respect, and a commitment to quality care and continuous learning.
