Role: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) responsible for implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve patient mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and adjust therapy programs, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and follow-up referrals.
- Document treatment sessions and ensure compliance with departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with team members, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards.
- Promote a positive patient experience, practice effective communication, and support teamwork.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
- Follow all organizational policies, safety, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Physical Therapy or related field and a valid PTA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork skills, and basic computer proficiency.
