Role and Responsibilities:
Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, implements treatment programs for patients across all age groups, ensuring adherence to accepted physical therapy practices and principles.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Education program.
- Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with the relevant licensing board; license must remain active and in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within ninety days of hire.
Skills and Key Duties:
- Assist in developing and executing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient care and support to facilitate recovery.
- Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ensure compliance with licensure and certification requirements.
