Role: Provides advanced physical therapy services by conducting evaluations, designing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and re-assessing patient progress. Offers guidance and supervision to Physical Therapists, Assistants, and students, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to regulations. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and families, and documents all activities accurately. Maintains departmental standards, manages equipment, and supports organizational goals. Demonstrates clinical competency, safety awareness, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Perform initial evaluations, develop, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems.
- Educate patients and caregivers, ensuring understanding of diagnoses and progress.
- Document assessments, treatments, and discharge plans thoroughly and accurately.
- Supervise and mentor staff and students, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in team meetings, departmental initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
- Adhere to safety protocols and department policies, demonstrating professionalism and good judgment.
