Physical Therapist PRN

Role: Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. They collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, set goals, and determine discharge strategies, ensuring patient and family involvement. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate treatments, providing education and training, documenting evaluations and care, and offering discharge instructions and referrals.

Key Duties: Conduct patient assessments, develop and revise treatment plans, deliver care, document sessions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Promote ethical practices, confidentiality, teamwork, and effective communication. Engage in continuous professional development, mandatory education, and participate in staff activities. Maintain a positive and respectful environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Masters or Doctoral degree. Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state, along with BLS certification, is required. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills are essential.
