Role Summary:
This PRN Physical Therapist role focuses on providing pediatric care at a hospital setting, primarily covering developmental patients during staff leave, PTO, and transitions. The position involves evaluating and treating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating with families and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status.
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring competency and safety.
- Complete accurate documentation following departmental policies.
- Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations related to physical therapy services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required; Master’s preferred.
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapist License.
- Experience is not required; supervision experience is also not mandatory.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical evaluation skills.
