Physical Therapist PRN

Role: The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across the continuum, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and patient satisfaction, while ensuring regulatory compliance.


  • Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans, and establish realistic goals and discharge plans with patients and families.
  • Implement and revise treatment activities, provide patient and family education, and offer discharge instructions and community resource referrals.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans following departmental protocols.
  • Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication, while fostering teamwork and a positive environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development to uphold licensure and skills.

Qualifications: Must have a graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program and hold a valid state license and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills are essential.
