Role: Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement tailored therapy treatments, adjust plans based on patient progress, and provide education to patients and families.
- Document evaluations, care plans, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication within the team.
- Contribute to a positive patient and team environment, demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Engage in professional development, mandatory training, and support onboarding of new staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Master’s or Doctoral degree.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
