Role Overview: Provides specialized physical therapy treatment, develops care plans, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. Supervises and mentors Physical Therapists, Assistants, and Techs, ensuring quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts initial evaluations, designs and revises treatment plans based on diagnoses and patient progress.
- Performs assessments across neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems, interpreting results to guide therapy.
- Implements evidenced-based techniques, educates patients and families, and ensures proper documentation of care and outcomes.
- Participates in team meetings, manages departmental duties, and maintains safety standards.
- Supervises and mentors staff and students, providing performance feedback and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Supports departmental goals, productivity standards, and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure from the relevant state board or licensing authority.
- Demonstrates clinical competency appropriate to patient age and conditions.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements: No previous experience required. Day shift position in a healthcare facility, with responsibilities including patient care, documentation, supervision, and participation in organizational initiatives.
