Role: Physical Therapist
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities in patients with disease or injury.
- Implement and revise treatment plans collaboratively with patients and families, providing education, discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals.
- Establish and evaluate treatment programs and discharge plans in coordination with physicians and patients.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge information per departmental protocols.
- Adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and process improvement activities.
- Utilize equipment safely and cost-effectively, observing infection control precautions.
- Deliver excellent customer service, promote teamwork, and foster a positive environment using AIDET principles.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, complete mandatory education, and maintain licensure requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, team collaboration, and basic computer skills.
