Role Overview: This position involves evaluating and treating patients primarily in Rehab and LTAC hospitals, focusing on patient progress, documentation, and communication with team members, patients, families, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and discharge evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document appropriately.
- Perform timely treatment to meet functional goals and determine educational needs.
- Participate as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Serve as a clinical instructor or mentor for interns as needed.
- Assist with equipment orders and communicate with vendors and outside physicians.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, or Acute settings preferred.
- Current BLS certification, GA PT license or eligibility.
- Basic computer literacy.
