Role: Part-time Physical Therapist at an outpatient rehab center, responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering rehabilitative care to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
- Conduct patient assessments and establish individualized treatment programs.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans adhering to departmental guidelines.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Promote excellent customer service using AIDET principles and foster teamwork.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and staff meetings.
- Organize workload efficiently, ensure safe use of materials and equipment, and observe infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors in Physical Therapy.
- Licensing as a Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork skills, and basic computer proficiency.
