Neuro Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist
Provide on-site physical therapy within a hospital-based rehabilitation program for complex neurological patients. Evaluate and treat adults with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurologic conditions, developing individualized, evidence-based plans of care to improve mobility, function, and independence.
Key Duties
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and create patient-centered treatment plans
- Deliver inpatient neuro rehabilitation interventions to restore functional abilities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and contribute during rounds
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate care needs
- Provide clear education to patients and families to support recovery and independence
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed physical therapist with strong neurological rehabilitation expertise
- Ability to assess complex presentations and implement evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care
- Compassionate, patient- and family-focused approach to education and outcomes
