Role Overview
Provides skilled outpatient physical therapy services, focusing on developmental and orthopedic pediatric patients. Responsibilities include establishing and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and maintaining thorough documentation. The role involves conducting assessments, reassessments, and consultations to support patient progress and discharge planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)
- Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist License
- Experience: No prior experience required; preferred Master’s Degree in PT
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration and education
Key Duties
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Delegate interventions appropriately, ensuring staff competency
- Complete all required documentation in line with departmental policies
- Provide assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services
