Role: A licensed physical therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities in patients with disease or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise treatment plans with patient and family input, providing education and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate ongoing treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education according to departmental standards.
- Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safety and infection control.
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering teamwork and positive patient experiences.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Georgia State Licensure and all necessary certifications including BLS.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, team player, and basic computer skills.
