Role Overview:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services in a patient-centered, hybrid acute/inpatient setting. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering interventions to improve functional outcomes. The therapist will collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, delegate tasks appropriately, and document all activities in line with departmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.
- Educate and coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
- Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill levels.
- Complete accurate documentation of services provided.
- Conduct assessments, re-evaluations, and consultations for physical therapy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required), Master’s preferred.
- Current Physical Therapist License.
- No prior experience required; supervision experience is not necessary.
