Physical Therapist

Role Overview: The Home Health Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary environment. They contribute to program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement, demonstrating accountability and flexibility in collaboration with team members.

Qualifications: A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required after 2015. A valid Texas Driver’s License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory. Experience preferences include specific years and types of experience, with a focus on licensed physical therapy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team activities and program development.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts.

Skills & Certifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with required licensure and BLS certification.
  • Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications within 90 days of hire.
