Role Overview:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in a supportive rehab unit within an acute/inpatient setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Delegation to assistants and documentation are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
- Educate and consult with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed
- Delegate tasks to support staff based on skill levels
- Complete accurate documentation in line with departmental policies
- Conduct assessments and reassessments for Physical Therapy services
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required, Master’s preferred
- Valid Physical Therapist license
- No prior experience required; supervision experience is not mandatory
