Role & Responsibilities: The position involves planning and executing physical therapy programs for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, in accordance with accepted practices. It requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team and supervision of roles such as Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers. The core duties include assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring effective patient care.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should possess relevant physical strength, mobility, and stamina to perform duties such as frequent location changes, assisting patients, and handling physical activities of average difficulty. Ability to lift, push, or pull loads up to 50 pounds is essential. The role may expose staff to infectious diseases, chemicals, and require wearing protective equipment. Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements: Must be able to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance.
