Role Overview: Provides physical therapy treatment plans across all age groups, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Supervises roles such as Physical Therapy Assistant, aides, and students/observers.
Responsibilities & Duties: Implements patient-specific therapy programs based on accepted practices, assists with patient care, and adapts to physical activities and emergency situations. Ensures safety protocols including wearing protective gear and managing exposure to infectious, toxic, or contagious conditions.
Qualifications & Skills: Must perform duties with or without accommodations, lift up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate strength, mobility, and stamina for frequent location and patient handling. Requires visual and auditory acuity, ability to handle chemicals, and work in varied activity conditions including sitting, standing, bending, and twisting.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements: Ability to see with corrective lenses and hear clearly with assistance. Capable of performing physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting, with occasional to continuous frequency.
