Role Overview: The position involves planning and implementing comprehensive physical therapy programs for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric. It requires collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise roles including Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, students, and observers.
- Assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on accepted practices.
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements:
- Ability to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance.
- Capability to perform physical activities including sitting, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and twisting.
- May be exposed to infectious agents, chemicals, and require irregular hours and protective gear.
