Role: Provides advanced physical therapy assessment, treatment, and education to patients, designing personalized care plans based on diagnoses and evaluations.
Responsibilities:
- Performs initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and develops comprehensive treatment plans.
- Applies advanced knowledge of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary conditions.
- Implements and adjusts therapy techniques, ensuring safety and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Reassesses patient progress, modifies treatment goals, and manages discharge planning.
- Educates patients and families, documents care accurately, and ensures compliance with regulations.
- Supervises and mentors Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides, and students, providing feedback and guidance.
- Participates in team meetings, departmental duties, and supports organizational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure or PT Compact registration.
- No prior experience required.
