Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, plans, and administers treatments to improve physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions. Responsibilities include providing therapy using self-care tasks, work skills, muscle re-education, and therapeutic activities, adhering to APTA standards and Maryland scope of practice.
Requirements:
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy
- 1-3 years experience
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Maryland Physical Therapist License
