Role Overview: This position involves coordinating and delivering Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services, overseeing clinical care for inpatient and outpatient settings, and ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans; evaluate patient progress and modify interventions accordingly.
- Supervise therapy staff, promote evidence-based practices, and ensure documentation compliance.
- Coordinate therapy services on the assigned unit, manage staffing and budgets, and facilitate communication among interdisciplinary team members.
- Mentor staff and students, participate in departmental development, and promote a positive team environment.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards; handle conflict resolution and staff education.
- Contribute to discharge planning and assist in selecting adaptive equipment to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Master’s in Occupational Therapy preferred.
- Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist required.
- Experience: preferred five years of clinical practice.
