Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)
- Knowledge of medical laboratory practices, procedures, and terminology
- Familiarity with lab manuals, formularies, ICD-10 codes, and reference lab protocols
Certification/Licensure
- Required within ninety (90) days of start date
- Basic Life Support certification (required)
- Preferred certifications include ASCP board registration or equivalent, and certified phlebotomy technician
Skills & Experience
- Experience performing phlebotomy (required)
- Strong understanding of medical procedures and terminology
