Role Overview
This position involves performing phlebotomy tasks in a physician office setting, ensuring accurate blood specimen collection and handling.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: Knowledge of Medical Laboratory practices, procedures, and terminology; familiarity with lab manuals, formularies, ICD-9, and reference lab procedures.
- Certifications/Licensure: Required – Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within ninety days of start date; Preferred – ASCP Board of Registry or equivalent.
