Role: Per Diem Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at varying levels, responsible for providing patient care under supervision with increasing responsibilities based on experience and qualifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in assigned clinical areas, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Apply clinical knowledge and skills to meet patient needs.
- Prioritize patient care and make judgments regarding basic needs.
- Perform duties specific to each level, with higher levels including additional responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.
- Current, valid Texas LVN license.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 6 months clinical experience or successful completion of a residency program.
- Proficiency with clinical equipment, supplies, and basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience:
- LVN II: 4+ years of clinical experience.
- LVN III: 9+ years of clinical experience.
