Pediatric Sonographer (Weekend Option) Part-Time

Role and Responsibilities:

The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment for pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound examinations, documenting procedures accurately, and potentially performing on-call, portable, or site-specific studies. Assisting with needle procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and needle placements may also be required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum education of an Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.

Certification as RDMS or equivalent; no experience required for entry, but preferred experience includes at least 2 years in the field.

Licenses & Certifications: RDMS or equivalent; CPR; RDCS or equivalent (preferred).

Strong attention to equipment functionality, documentation, and independent operation skills.

Vascular imaging experience is a plus.
