Role Overview:
Seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform general imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients, supporting diagnosis and treatment. The role offers flexible, PRN scheduling with cross-training opportunities. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts radiographic exams independently, and handles portable and on-call procedures. RT (R) certification is required, with preferred experience of at least 2 years and CPR certification. Pediatric experience is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, providing high-quality customer service and instructions.
- Perform imaging examinations independently and as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Trade School education.
- Licenses including IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI) and Radiology Technologist registration.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification.
