Role Overview:
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures on pediatric and adult patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and handling on-call and portable exams as needed. Cross-training in MRI is available for qualified registered technologists.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with high-quality standards
- Ensure proper patient and equipment preparation
- Operate independently, including during on-call and portable exams
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent from trade school
- Licenses and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI)
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certification
- Minimal experience required; no pediatric experience necessary
