Role: The position involves coordinating patient flow, managing patient placement requests, and overseeing environmental services staff within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities: Ensure accurate dispatching, monitor departmental operations, resolve patient, visitor, staff, or employee complaints, and maintain staff availability.
Qualifications & Skills: Healthcare or call center experience is required; dispatching or high-volume scheduling experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and Epic Software is advantageous. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including working weekends, and demonstrate excellent customer service, telephone etiquette, and listening skills.
Additional Info: Availability during the late afternoon to late evening hours is necessary.
