Role Overview
This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, performing diagnostic tasks such as EKGs and ultrasounds, assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and implementing care plans. The role emphasizes maintaining patient safety, conducting hourly rounding, and delivering emotional support to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Preferred candidates have CNA certification, completed nursing assistant training, or relevant patient care experience.
- Minimum of one year of relevant medical office experience.
- Basic computer skills for charting and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal, prioritization, collaboration, and adherence to instructions.
Key Duties
- Assist with patient care tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting with daily activities.
- Support patient admissions, discharge preparations, and care plan implementation.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and provide emotional support.
