This RN Coordinator of Patient Care Services supports patient- and family-centered care by leading daily unit operations and acting as a clinical role model.
Evaluates patient needs, makes care recommendations, and ensures appropriate staffing and patient flow. Acts as a resource for staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports nursing professional development and shared governance. Monitors staff schedules, addresses patient and staff issues, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Requires a diploma, 3 years of acute care RN experience, effective communication, cultural awareness, and knowledge of care coordination, patient safety, and documentation. Preferred qualifications include a BSN or higher, specialty certifications, and physical ability for patient handling. Works evening shifts, with physical demands including lifting, standing, and patient transport.
