We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment focused on operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients’ bodies. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, setting technical parameters, ensuring image quality, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. The role involves collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals, documenting procedures accurately, and providing compassionate patient care.
- Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues.
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Adjust technical settings for accurate imaging of anatomy and pathology.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Follow radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Document patient information and imaging details accurately.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Qualifications include:
- One year of recent CT technologist experience.
- Valid radiology license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Preferred ARRT certification.
Skills required:
