Part Time – Service Technician

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing basic mechanical repairs such as oil changes, brake service, suspension, and alignments.
  • Conducting tire mounting, dismounting, rotation, and wheel balancing.
  • Utilizing diagnostic equipment and documenting vehicle conditions through multi-point inspections.
  • Carrying out State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable, following safety and ethical guidelines.
  • Adhering to safety procedures, company policies, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Supporting other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
  • Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills and physical demands:

  • Ability to work in noisy, dusty environments, using PPE as needed.
  • Physical capability to stand for long hours, bend, kneel, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform fine motor tasks.
  • Sufficient vision to distinguish colors and depth.
