Responsibilities include:
- Performing basic mechanical repairs such as oil changes, brake service, suspension, and alignments.
- Conducting tire mounting, dismounting, rotation, and wheel balancing.
- Utilizing diagnostic equipment and documenting vehicle conditions through multi-point inspections.
- Carrying out State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable, following safety and ethical guidelines.
- Adhering to safety procedures, company policies, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Supporting other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
- Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills and physical demands:
- Ability to work in noisy, dusty environments, using PPE as needed.
- Physical capability to stand for long hours, bend, kneel, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform fine motor tasks.
- Sufficient vision to distinguish colors and depth.
