Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides instructions with professionalism, and conducts imaging examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Inform patients about procedures, ensuring high customer service standards.
- Perform radiographic exams independently, including portable and on-call tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and valid radiology registration.
- Preferred experience includes up to 2 years in radiology, with specialties like vascular, neurovascular, or MRI.
- CPR certification is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Part-time role (24 hours/week), benefits eligible.
