Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in General Radiology, with support for operating room procedures and occasional work on the floor, in the ER, or on portable exams. The technologist will work with advanced imaging equipment including Carestream, GE, Medtronic, and Samsung systems. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, and performing studies independently or in on-call situations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Conduct imaging studies across various settings, including OR, ER, and portable exams.
- Operate advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, or other specialized techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Experience is welcomed but not mandatory; new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred experience in intraoperative, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, or portable radiography.
- Licenses and certifications such as IEMA (Illinois), RT, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and IV Therapy are advantageous.

- This is a part-time, benefits-eligible role working mainly two days a week, Monday and Wednesday.
